Experimentation is not inherently bad. Every organization needs a mechanism for testing new ideas. The problem arises when experimentation becomes the default mode of AI adoption, because experiments do not compound.

Start with the operating model, not the technology. Before evaluating any AI tool, map your current operating model: systems, workflows, data flows, decision points, handoffs.
